Q: How far does the Traveling Tin Co. travel?
A: We are based out of Southwest, MO but are always up for an adventure to travel outside of our area. Contact us with your event details and location and will confirm if we travel there. For locations outside of 20 mi of Springfield, MO a $2/mile one way travel fee will apply.
Q: Do you supply the alcohol for the event?
A: We do not. To comply with Missouri State Law, we cannot sell or provide the alcohol for the event. We will connect you with a preferred local retailer to purchase the alcohol/reserve for the event with an exclusive discount for our clients. On the day of the event we will show up hours before the start time, stock the trailer with the booze, decorate the trailer, and serve the drinks for your event! We supply the bar, bartending staff & more for your event, but we do not supply or sell the alcohol.
Q: Do you have options for keg beer?
A: We can do a keg option - only with Lucky, the horse trailer bar. She is equipped with a dual draft tower keg and can serve two different types of beer on draft for your guests. Offering keg beer is very cost efficient, and can serve many guests while keeping alcohol cost low.
Q: Can the Mobile Bar be used for other events, day events, or serve non-alcoholic drinks?
A: YES! The trailer can be used for morning/day events as well. A few adorable ideas we've seen for day weddings or events are a donut bar, coffee bar, mimosa bar, bloody Mary bar, hot cocoa bar, or to offer your guests sweet treats such as cupcakes. We recommend Charity Fent Cake Design for all cupcakes & cakes you may want served
Q: Is the Traveling Tin Co. fully insured?
A: We are! We are a fully licensed LLC business, as well as carry Liquor Liability Insurance.
Q: What comes with my package?
A: We offer many different service packages, as well have an array of unique mobile bars surely to fit in with your style and theme of your event. Contact us by filling out the contact form on the website - filling in your event details - and we will send you our brochure with all of our packages and services.
Q: Can the trailer go anywhere?
A: As long as there is enough space for a trailer to pull in, back out, and be set up (the trailer is 16 ft), in your space, as well as plug in access (can use a provided generator if needed), and as long as the venue or event location owner approves a mobile bar on their grounds, then YES!!
Q: How can I budget for alcohol costs?
A: Easy Peezy! Contact us, and we will put together an estimate for you based on alcohol spend depending on the number of guests that will be attending your event, the number of hours we would serve for, etc.. The amount will vary depending on brands of beer, wine, and or alcohol selected, but we can put together an estimate for you almost instantly! As a reminder, we do not sell the alcohol, this is an estimate and or quantity estimate that you will need for the retailer of choice that you choose to purchase the ingredients from for your bar menu.
